Nike has remained committed to bringing new energy to their ever-reliable offerings for genuinely decades, and the Nike Air Max 90 Drift is just the latest in that storied history. In fact, it isn’t even the first in the TPU-heavy, futuristic Drift line; that title goes to the Air Max Plus Drift that surfaced in proximity to Air Max Day 2024. After crashing onto the scene in April, the remodeled AM90 has been relatively sparse, now adding colorway #10.
It isn’t a fully “Triple Black” edition (the silo already moved through that territory), but a nocturnal profile is still in focus all the same. “Iron Grey/Obsidian/Anthracite” all do an equal job in establishing that atmosphere, complementary but distinct enough to create depth in this design. Compositionally, the standout features of the Air Max 90 Drift remain the synthetic grid toe-box, the pull-tabs that call to mind other reimaginings like the Zoom Vomero 5 Roam, and the flush hardware at the midfoot that flattens out the quarter panel and Swoosh.
We’re projecting the Nike Air Max 90 Drift to land this Holiday season, carrying a $160 MSRP. Check official images below and watch our Sneaker Release Dates page for more detailed launch info in the coming weeks.
Switching to a different Beaverton drop, the Wu Tang Dunks hit stores on November 9th.
