atmos and adidas have collaborated to give the classic adidas Superstar 82 a GORE-TEX upgrade, introducing a weather-ready rendition of the iconic black-and-white silhouette.
The sneaker maintains a familiar aesthetic, featuring a white leather upper, black three stripes and a distressed shell toe for a classic, well-worn appearance. The gold GORE-TEX branding on the heel ensures the shoe’s waterproof capabilities, keeping feet dry in all conditions. A unique detail is the snakeskin pattern on the black side stripes and heel tab, which glows in the dark—a tribute to atmos’ long-running “G-SNK” series. The design is further completed with the iconic golden tongue label and a small “Designed in Tokyo” tag inside.
The atmos x adidas Originals SUPERSTAR 82 GTX “White/Black” is set to launch exclusively in Japan on November 22 via the atmos website, with international release details still pending confirmation.
