Three releases now under its belt, it’s fair to say that the Nike Lunar Roam is officially back. With all of those drops proving near sell-out events, it may be awhile before the silhouette presents as a throwback option to add to runner’s wardrobes everywhere. Nonetheless, their latest “Summit White/Black/Barely Volt” layout harkens to general release runners colorways as the model marches on in its renewed run.
With “Triple Black” and “Triple White” colorways unveiled in the past several months, it follows logically that a colorway spotlighting both tones would be next up. The lighter side certainly wins out, taking up the entirely of the textile upper, but black centralizes the design on the tongue, Swoosh, sockliner and rear pull tab. The 2010s origins for the Lunar Roam again become relevant when discussing the “Barely Volt” presented via the MagWires. Though not as all-encompassing here as it was back then, the use of that highlighter color harkens back to that era when “Volt” as a whole was inescapable in every corner of the Nike catalog.
The Nike Lunar Roam “Barely Volt” is expected to drop as we get into Nike’s Spring/Summer catalog. Anticipate a $150 retail price when they materialize.
