Even before either shoe has officially hit the market, two GRs have skyrocketed to hotly-anticipated status this summer: the Air Force 1 “Paw Print” and the Air Jordan 1 “Paw Print.” The appetite for both shoes has proven that sometimes less is more, and the right minor details can truly set a pair over the top. The Nike Air Max Plus slides in bearing the same motif, pasting a “Paw Print” bubble on its tongue.
The animated detail reads exactly the same as on the aforementioned pairs: a puppy footprint is embossed on the tongue with bubble material, containing your typical Nike swoosh emblem on its palm. However, while those earlier editions kept to a layout of just white & pink, this pair throws light grey into the mix, printing it below rosy TPU waves and eggshell laces. Oceanic blue-green notes round out the design on the exposed Air bubbles under the heel, but that contrast doesn’t detract from what’s an overall cutesy atmosphere.
The Nike Air Max Plus “Paw Print” comes your way this Fall, likely retailing in the neighborhood of $180. Enjoy official images ahead while you wait.
