Coming into the 2024-25 NBA season, we knew it’d be the end of an era in Golden State, with Klay Thompson switching to the Dallas Mavericks in free agency. His departure spurred many “look back” pieces on the Bay Area dynasty, but perhaps underwritten in that story is ANTA’s presence alongside Klay the whole way through.
First putting ink to paper in 2014, his partnership with the Chinese brand has spanned four championships, five All-Star games, and many more defining moments from his Hall of Fame career. A decade deep, the duo just launched the ANTA KT-10, completely redesigning Thompson’s performance model. Decreased weight, increased stability, and agility are the focus, introducing cable-supported anchoring, a TPU shank in the midsole, and a new water wave/herringbone traction pattern underfoot.
The duo is introducing the ANTA KT-10 in two weighty conceptual colorways to celebrate the occasion. The more vibrant of the pair is the “Crossing Time,” which sports a light, neutral base, but the chief selling point is the gradient that drapes the Full-palm Nitrogen boost and cushioning unit. Blending primary shades of yellow, red, and blue, the shoe symbolizes “hope,” “enthusiasm [towards] his new journey,” and “calmness and focus,” respectively.
The “Time Capsule” instead opts for a more monochromatic profile, split between black and white at the heel and toe-box and executing a similar ombre pattern on its midsole. Rather than the abstract inspiration for the shades in the “Crossing Time” pair, this edition tangibly references Klay’s championship pedigree with regal, golden embroidery and detailing.
The ANTA KT-10 “Crossing Time” and KT-10 “Time Capsule” are now available via ANTA.com and Shoe Palace, retailing for $130 a piece. Hit the “Where To Buy” sections ahead to pick up your pair in either colorway.
