First unveiled at Paris Fashion Week all the way back in January, AURALEE’s latest New Balance collaboration and first ever “Made In USA” project is finally upon us. December 13th will see the release of two AURALEE x New Balance 990v4 colorways, both of which masterfully capture the Japanese brand’s refined design language.
Both looks are plenty clean in their own right, but the “Dusty Blue” stands out a bit more. Buttery suede overlays wrap the top half, complemented by grey underlays so as to better distinguish a darker mesh base. A teal-ish heel counter carries the bluescale motif underfoot, while a tasteful pop of cream adds sophistication to the midsole. The “Taupe” colorway, meanwhile, could be likened to a JJJJound New Balance collaboration if not for disruptive light blue treatments underfoot.
The AURALEE x New Balance 990v4s release December 13th; available via auralee.jp and select stores worldwide (no newbalance.com date has been mentioned). Retail is set at ¥44,000, which translates to roughly $300. See detailed images courtesy of @auralee_tokyo below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page for more.
