Louis Theroux Is the Face of the Nike Air Max 95 “OG Neon”

As Nike’s Air Max 95 “OG Neon” makes its return this week, JD marks the highly anticipated relaunch with a new campaign starring OG journalist and TV host Louis Theroux. As well as being known for his no-holds-barred interview style spotlighting famous and infamous figures from around the world, Theroux is not one to shy away from pop culture, too. Over the years, he’s become an icon in music, fashion and beyond, having even featured in the viral “Jiggle Jiggle” song. The latest campaign reaffirms his cult status as he stars alongside British rapper Kasst 8 as well as JD ambassadors Angry Ginge and The Bov Boys. JD began to tease the visuals back in February with a clip following Kasst 8 – a well-known fan of the Air Max 95 – as he packages the grail sneaker in the stockroom. It wasn’t until last week that the sportswear retailer revealed Theroux as the final campaign star, showing him in a podcast studio with the surprise parcel. The journalist is also seen wearing the Sergio Lozano-designed Air Max 95 model with two tracksuits dropping exclusively at JD in “Black” and “Grey.” Boasting a ‘90s-inspired aesthetic, the woven sets arrive with a baggy silhouette, cuffed bottoms as well as hints of vibrant “neon” tones. Watch the campaign video in the Instagram post below and be sure to explore the accompanying lookbook via the main gallery.
