Name: Air Jordan 40 “Bordeaux”

SKU: HM9932-601
MSRP: $205 USD
Release Date: October 2025
Where to Buy: Nike

When Jordan Brand introduced the Air Jordan 40 in June, it made one thing clear: each colorway has been carefully considered. Nine pairs were mentioned in the official press release as featuring unique materials across their uppers. Since then, we’ve seen several different approaches to the shoe, including an Air Jordan 1-inspired “Chicago” pair with Swooshes and Wings branding.

Adding to its list of looks, a new “Bordeaux” iteration of the Air Jordan 40 has surfaced. This wine-like color scheme coats a supple leather throughout the understated upper. A darker burgundy hue complements this at the laces, tongue, including its Jumpman branding, and throughout the court-ready sole unit. A peach orange can be spotted at the medial midfoot while Nike Air branding hides underneath a semi-translucent layer at the heel to complete this preview.

At the time of writing, Jordan Brand has not yet indicated when this “Bordeaux” version of the Air Jordan 40 will be dropping. Stay tuned for updates, including the unveiling of additional colorways, as we currently expect this pair to drop next month via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $205 USD.
