Timberland has partnered with Shanghai-based retailer DOE to reimagine the iconic 3-Eye Classic Lug in a special “Urban Utility” edition. This collaboration blends Timberland’s rugged heritage with DOE’s contemporary design sensibility, resulting in a shoe that balances durability with modern streetwear appeal. The silhouette retains its recognizable handsewn construction and chunky lug sole, while introducing updated details such as tonal suede uppers, reinforced stitching and subtle co-branding. The design also emphasizes versatility, making the shoe suitable for both outdoor use and urban environments.

Engineered for both practical function and elevated comfort, the upper is constructed using premium Timberland® leather, with notable functional features including a bungee closure system for quick and easy fit adjustment. For comfort, the shoe is fitted with a removable Anti-Fatigue footbed. The urban utility concept is completed by the adoption of a Vibram® MORFLEX outsole, which provides both excellent grip and a surprisingly lightweight feel, making it ideally suited for casual city wear.
