Foot Locker just dropped adidas’ latest ADISTAR XLG revamps. Tapping into the essence of early ‘00s running culture synonymous with the ADISTAR line, the XLG reimagines a classic silhouette with bold, sleek design accents that blend comfort and utility. The new drops arrive in “Black/Silver” and “White/Solar Orange” colorways, now available on Foot Locker.
From a visual standpoint, adidas’ ADISTAR revamp brings edgy flair to the classic runner, utilizing mixed materials, colorblocking, and retro branding to create a familiar Y2K aesthetic. The shoe features striking 3D sculpting, a synthetic exoskeleton that envelops the mesh uppers, along with 3D Three Stripes overlays at the quarter. Designed for versatile utility, a well-cushioned composition zones in on stability and all-day support underfoot. Technical features include a breathable mesh base that emphasizes fluid mobility, an RPU moulded cage for a snug, optimized fit, and Adiprene cushioning in the heel.
