The WAVE MUJIN TL GPM is a debut collaboration that fuses Mizuno’s long-standing athletic heritage with the technical, “Urban Explorer” aesthetic of the Taiwan-based brand GOOPiMADE.
Built on the foundation of the archival WAVE MUJIN TL trail runner, the design is centered around the theme “Build To Stand Upon The Hill,” reimagining the silhouette as a functional fashion piece capable of tackling all terrains. The upper is constructed from a combination of white PU and breathable mesh, featuring an experimental, asymmetrical structure and an advanced Quick-Lace system that embodies GOOPiMADE’s signature utility-focused design language.
This special edition sneaker emphasizes durability and architectural beauty, highlighted by a rugged MICHELIN rubber outsole for superior traction and Mizuno’s proprietary Wave midsole technology for stability and cushioning. Branding is executed with intentional restraint, integrating GOOPiMADE’s low-saturation color palette with technical adjustment systems that allow the shoe to function as a modular tool for city and mountain navigation alike.
