Each pair is hand-treated using a traditional Japanese mud-dyeing technique, resulting in unpredictable organic markings that ensure no two sneakers are alike. This artisanal process transforms the GEL-KINETIC FLUENT into a unique artifact, blending raw materiality with human gesture while maintaining the technical DNA of ASICS’ running heritage.

Design details highlight both cultural symbolism and functional innovation. The sneaker features layered textures and earthy tones that reflect its grounding in natural processes, while ASICS’ advanced cushioning and stability technologies remain integral to the build. Limited to just 70 pairs, each sneaker comes with a unique identification code and serial number, housed in special packaging that incorporates traditional Japanese Kōzo paper and co-branded elements.
