Africa’s premier cultural exchange platform is once again making waves in the sneaker world. HOMECOMING Festival, the Lagos-based festival founded by Grace Ladoja, has teamed up with Nike to release a special edition Air Max Plus pack for 2026. Following the success of previous collaborations, this year’s project amplifies the festival’s mission of connecting the diaspora through music, sport, and fashion, delivering two distinct iterations of the “Tn” that capture the vibrant energy of Lagos.

The collaboration introduces two unique color stories that reflect the festival’s identity. The first pair adopts a Pan-African palette, combining a black base with hits of University Red and Court Green. This design reinforces the event’s core message of unity and heritage. The second pair takes a more expressive approach, featuring a bold “Safety Orange” gradient that transitions into Bright Mandarin, mirroring the high-energy atmosphere of the festival itself.

Beyond the colors, the construction of these Air Max Plus models has been elevated with subtle design shifts. Both versions feature textured uppers that lean into a rugged, snakeskin-like finish, adding a layer of luxury and durability. The signature TPU cage—often referred to as the “veins”—appears to have an elevated structure, giving the silhouette a more aggressive profile. Each pair also comes with multiple lace options, allowing for further customization.

The HOMECOMING x Nike Air Max Plus collection is expected to debut during the festival, which runs from April 2 to April 6, 2026, in Lagos, Nigeria.
