To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Jordan Brand has partnered with Assouline to release the ‘Air Jordan Book.” This publication, written by Adam Bradley, serves as a tribute to Michael Jordan’s legacy and Jordan Brand’s extensive history.
The 408-page “Air Jordan Book” is structured into six chapters, each dedicated to one of Jordan’s championship rings. It illustrates the profound impact of MJ and the Jordan Brand on fashion, design, and contemporary culture worldwide. A unique aspect of the book is its inclusion of never-before-published items from Jordan’s personal archives. These exclusive photographs showcase his college cap and gown, historic apparel pieces, childhood trophies, and unreleased photos of MJ himself taken by his wife, Annie Leibovitz, offering fans an unparalleled glimpse into his life.
The “Air Jordan Book” is available in two editions: the Classic Edition, priced at $123 USD, and the Ultimate Edition, which costs $2,300 USD. The Ultimate Edition is presented in a black Baroque-inspired clamshell case and is limited to 1,000 copies, with each having a special numbering.
