The latest collaboration between Mizuno and Singaporean sneaker artist SBTG (Mr. Sabotage) introduces a striking reimagining of the Wave Rider 10. The collaborative model centers on a “skeletal structure” design concept, where bone-like motifs are artfully incorporated onto the shoe as appliqué, graphic print and sculptural embellishments.

The sneaker’s aesthetic is built through the meticulous layering of materials. Its upper boasts stacks of mesh and glossy leather, creating a juxtaposition of textures. One of its highlighted design details is the transparent Runbird logo, which creates a translucent dialogue with the skeletal graphics underneath.

This collaboration marks the first time the Wave Rider 10 silhouette has been equipped with a quick lacing system, adding functional convenience and a modern, technical flair to the sneaker. The tongue and heel also feature SBTG’s signature graphics, providing a reserved yet clear mark of the artist’s identity.
