adidas Running just revealed the latest evolution of Boost. Introducing the Hyperboost Edge, a new lightweight super trainer designed for road running.

Three key innovations back the sneaker: a PRIMEWEAVE upper, LIGHTTRAXION outsole, and, of course, the all-new Hyperboost Pro midsole. The result is adidas’ first non-plated super trainer, offering a lightweight, propulsive experience. PRIMEWEAVE provides a soft, hyper light woven build for the upper while still emphasizing lockdown. Meanwhile, the Hyperboost Pro foam is all about cushioning, and is supported by integrated heel pods for targeted shock absorption and stability. Completing the build is the full-length LIGHTTRAXION outsole, which is high in traction and grip while remaining thin. In total, a size 8.5 weighs just 255g, and features a 6mm drop and 45mm rearfoot stack.

The shoe is set to debut in this red and white colorway on March 17 via adidas at a starting price of $200 USD. From there, a wider launch involving additional colorways is set to take place on May 1.
