As winter gets well underway, Engineered Garments and Helsinki-based footwear label Tarvas have returned with a third collaboration.

Designed to stay cozy and comfortable in various conditions, Engineered Garments designer Daiki Suzuki has reworked Tarvas’s Wanderer into a slip-on silhouette with faux fur uppers. The limited-edition Wanderer comes in three variants: leopard print, black, and an extra-plush gray fur.

Fusing elevated functionality with sophisticated design, the Portugal-made shoe sits atop the signature Tarvas mudguard, wrapping the entire shoe to ensure extra weather protection. The low-profile Vibram rubber sole provides additional grip and traction without distracting from the bold upper design.

Having first collaborated in 2019, the two labels debuted with a suede variant of the Finnish label’s explorer and returned in 2023 with the chunky Forest Bather model. The latest edition of the cross-cultural partnership leans further into casual comfort than any previous releases, with its lace-free design and hybrid sensibility.
