Summary

  • After several teasers throughout 2025, Nike Basketball has revealed the G.T. Cut 4
  • This new performance shoe is equipped with an innovative build that offers elite court feel
  • The Nike G.T. Cut 4 is set to release in January 2026

It’s been an exciting year for Nike Basketball, with big storylines tied to signature shoes such as the Nike LeBron 23, as well as non-signature models such as the Nike G.T. Future. One model that we’ve been awaiting more info about is the Nike G.T. Cut 4. Now, an official breakdown of the new model has been shared.

Worn initially by Paige Bueckers at WNBA All-Star Weekend, the G.T. Cut 4 expands on the brand’s “Greater Than” series. Key technology starts with the cushioning, which features Nike’s softest and most responsive tools for the court. A ZoomX 3.0 midsole, parabolic Zoom Strobel, RBR-X foam, and Cushlon carrier all work together harmoniously to emphasize stability and support. Meanwhile, a new generative traction pattern enables swift shifts in direction. As for the upper, a 3D-molded collar, molded vamp tongue, and exoskeleton-casted containment combine for not only a seamless, snug fit, but a sleek one too.

“The G.T. Cut 4 pushes the game forward and is built to match the feel, speed, and creativity of today’s athletes with Nike Basketball’s most advanced innovation yet,” shares Ross Klein, VP, Creative Director, Nike Basketball. “We took what players loved from past G.T. Cut models and evolved it with new technologies and deeper insights from players around the world, creating a shoe made for the future of basketball and the hoopers shaping the game.”

Look out for the Nike G.T. Cut 4 to make its retail debut in January of next year. We currently expect the sneaker to arrive at a $210 USD price point via Nike SNKRS and select retailers. Stay tuned for updates, including official launch details, as many colorways of the new performance shoe are likely to drop next year.
