Nike Basketball is preparing for the highly anticipated launch of the Nike Book 2, Devin Booker’s second signature sneaker, alongside a comprehensive apparel collection. Collaborating with Nike’s design team, Booker envisioned the shoe as a modern classic, merging high performance with a low-profile silhouette inspired by vintage cars, skateboarding, and classic Nike sportswear.

A core focus for Book 2 was maximizing court feel. This is achieved through a technical setup featuring a forefoot Air Zoom unit, a responsive Cushlon 3.0 midsole, and a foam sock liner. Booker notes that his preference for a lower-to-the-ground feel was influenced by classic Nike sneakers like the Air Zoom Spiridon. Furthermore, the durable outsole, which gives a nod to the Air Force 1, features a new sun-dappled herringbone traction pattern. This pattern is both a tribute to Phoenix and a functional element designed to help players maintain speed on the court. In addition, the debut “Phoenix” and “Rising” colourway, featuring orange and black, is a direct tribute to Booker’s eleven seasons spent in the Arizona desert.

Complementing the footwear is the Book 2 apparel collection, which features premium, heavyweight pieces with a sun-faded look. This aesthetic celebrates the desert environment and translates Booker’s immaculate personal style from the tunnel to the street.

The Nike Book 2 footwear and apparel collection is scheduled for release in January 2026 on Nike’s website and at select retailers. Check out the official images above.
