Vans has announced an exciting collaboration with Travis Barker, the legendary Blink-182 drummer, for a new Old Skool collection. This partnership celebrates their shared Southern California roots, reflecting Barker’s distinctive punk rock style and unwavering resilience within the sneaker’s design.

The Travis Barker x Vans Old Skool, personally designed by Barker, pays tribute to his remarkable legacy. Presented in a striking black and white aesthetic, the shoe features a distinctive “Dues Paid” emblem on the vamp, representing his tenacious spirit and the success achieved through perseverance. Additional details include a sharp barbed wire design on the foxing and Barker’s signature logo prominently displayed on both the heel and tongue.

For the release campaign, Vans enlisted its Brand Curator, Atiba Jefferson, as photographer, capturing Barker and one of New York’s boldest skateboarders, Ben Kadow, in this new pair of Old Skool. Alongside the online release on October 23, a limited quantity of 50 pairs will also be sold at the Vans retail store at The Grove in Los Angeles.
