Now, a new “Black” version of the slip-on has surfaced. 22 independent foam nodes rest at the bottom of each shoe, with it designed to “activate key sensory areas of the brain via underfoot stimulation.” In “Black,” an all-black finish is accented by “Hyper Crimson” at the unique outsole.At the time of writing, Nike has announced that the Mind 001 will be debuting in early January. As Hypebeast celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, we reflect on the brands that have left a long-lasting legacy within the streetwear arena. In 1973, Timberland’s Original Yellow Boot™ was born out of factory workers’ desire for a shoe that could do it all — something sturdy and waterproof that could support them through even New England’s harshest weather.
